Coordinate with and
existing rural neighborhood organizations
to provide education concerning the pros & cons of the "limited
home-rule" agenda.
Execute a petition
drive to repeal of Home-Rule by having an initiative placed on the next Primary Ballot.
Establish associative
relationships with other groups and individuals involved in rural community-related
aspects of the unincorporated areas of Marshal County and with
organization outside Marshal County that face similar challenges.
Assist unincorporated
Marshall County communities and citizens with support when confronted
with difficulties relating to ordinance compliance, especially the
elderly and the poor.
Monitor legislative
activities on both the Local, State and Federal levels and provide elected
officials with measured and reasoned responses to proposed actions.
Establish lines of
communication and constructive dialog with Local, State and Federal elected
officials for the purpose of providing them with constituency concerns
and preferences.
